Credit Card Customer Care Numbers for All Banks in India (2026)
Lost your card, spotted a charge you don't recognise, or need to dispute a bill? Here are the credit card customer care numbers for every major bank in India, each one taken from the bank's own website in October 2026. We've left out numbers that only appear on third-party sites, because fake "customer care" numbers are one of the most common ways people get scammed.
The quickest fix for a lost or stolen card isn't a call. Open your bank's app or net banking and block the card there. It takes seconds and works at 3 am. Then call to report it and ask for a replacement.

Before you call: how to get through faster
- Call from your registered mobile number. Most banks recognise it and skip a few verification steps.
- Keep your card number or the last four digits handy, plus your date of birth. The IVR usually asks for these.
- Use the number on the back of your card if you have it. It's the line meant for your card type.
- Try the app's chat or service request first for things like address changes, limit increases, EMI conversion and statement copies. These usually don't need a call.
Watch out for fake customer care numbers
Scammers post fake bank helplines on search results, maps listings and social media. When you call, they ask for your card details or an OTP, or send a link to "verify" your account. Keep these rules in mind:
- No bank will ever ask for your OTP, CVV, PIN or full card number over the phone.
- Banks don't ask you to install screen-sharing apps like AnyDesk or TeamViewer.
- Only use numbers from the back of your card, your statement, the bank's app or its official website.
- If you've shared details by mistake, block the card in the app straight away and report it at cybercrime.gov.in or on the national helpline 1930.
If customer care doesn't solve it: how to escalate
- Raise a written complaint through the bank's app, website or email, and note the complaint number.
- Escalate to the bank's grievance or nodal officer if you don't get a reply you're happy with. Every bank lists their contact details on its website.
- Go to the RBI Ombudsman if the bank hasn't resolved it within 30 days or rejected it. File online at cms.rbi.org.in, or call the RBI's contact centre on 14448. It's free and you don't need a lawyer.
Reporting an unauthorised transaction
Report it as soon as you notice. Under RBI rules, if the fraud wasn't your fault and you report it within three working days, you have zero liability and the bank must credit the money back, usually as a shadow credit within 10 working days. Wait longer and you may have to bear part of the loss. Block the card first, then call, then follow up in writing so there's a record of when you reported it.
