FindMyCard (findmycard.co) compares Indian credit cards. You can use the whole site without an account. This page explains what we collect, why, and how to remove it.
If you sign in with Google
Signing in is optional. It lets us keep the cards you own on every device. When you sign in, Google shares with us:
- your name, email address and profile photo,
- a Google account ID that tells us it's you next time.
We don't get your Google password or access to your Gmail, contacts or any other Google data.
The cards you save
We store which card products you say you hold (for example "HDFC Millennia Credit Card"), so we can tell you which one to use where. We never ask for or store card numbers, expiry dates, CVVs, statements or bank details.
If you don't sign in, the cards you add are saved only in your browser on that device.
How we use it
- To show your saved cards and recommend which to use at each merchant.
- To keep you signed in (a secure, signed cookie that lasts up to 90 days).
We don't sell your data, share it with banks or card issuers, or use it for advertising. We don't send marketing emails.
Other things the site uses
- Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It uses cookies and doesn't receive your account details.
- Error monitoring (Sentry) to fix bugs; error reports can include your browser type and the page you were on.
- Your browser's local storage for preferences like dark mode, cards you're comparing, and cards you've added.
- Apply links take you to the bank's or partner's own site. What you share there is covered by their privacy policy, not ours.
Deleting your data
Go to your account and choose "Delete my account". That removes your account and saved cards from our servers straight away. You can also remove FindMyCard's access from your Google account settings.
Where it's stored
Account data is stored on our own server and only our team can access it. We keep it until you delete your account.
