How to Redeem IndusInd Credit Card Reward Points

Anant Mohan Sinha · 2026-08-25

Where you actually redeem IndusInd points

IndusInd routes reward point redemption through a dedicated portal, IndusMoments (indusmoments.com), separate from regular NetBanking. Logging in there gives you access to the full redemption catalogue and your current points balance.

The three redemption paths

You can redeem for cash credit against your statement, transfer to InterMiles for airline and travel redemptions, or browse the catalogue directly on IndusMoments, which lists over 6,000 products across roughly 8 categories. Which makes sense depends on whether you actually travel enough to make InterMiles conversion worthwhile, or whether a straightforward bill reduction is more useful to you.

The fee on cash-credit redemption

Redeeming points for cash credit through IndusMoments carries a ₹149 + GST fee per redemption. As with any flat per-transaction fee, this favors consolidating your points into one larger cash-credit redemption rather than several smaller ones, since the fee doesn't scale with the redemption amount.

What to check before choosing InterMiles

InterMiles transfer only makes sense if you actually plan to use miles for flight or hotel bookings, since converting points you won't otherwise redeem into a travel-specific currency just adds a layer of complexity without adding value. If travel redemptions aren't part of your plans, cash credit or the catalogue is the simpler path.

A quick checklist before you redeem

  • Check your points balance and expiry date on IndusMoments before deciding how to redeem.
  • Consolidate cash-credit redemptions to avoid paying the ₹149 + GST fee more often than necessary.
  • Only choose InterMiles if you have a specific travel redemption in mind, not as a default.
