Our Expert Take

Axis Magnus was one of the most talked-about premium cards in India, but its value has been scaled back over time: the quarterly 25,000-mile milestone bonus and Buy 1 Get 1 movie offer are gone, and government, utility, telecom, insurance, fuel and jewellery spends no longer earn points. What's left is still a strong 35 EDGE Miles per ₹200 on travel with a 1:2 airline mile conversion, but the ₹25 lakh annual spend needed to waive the ₹12,500 fee puts this firmly in high-spender territory.
